In May, I went to this real estate conference in Phoenix, Arizona. This was the first time I’ve been to the desert. It was really pretty. This conference is for real estate investors or anyone looking to become an investor. There were so many amazing things I learned. Some of the things i learned were how to analyze deals, and how to calculate cash flow and how much you should set aside for repairs.I also learned how to finance down payments creatively like getting an FHA loan or getting a hard money loan. Different styles of investing like syndicate, single family and duplex are just a few investing styles. I also learned that you can learn something from everyone, whether they haven’t acquired their first property or own hundreds. My plan is to house hack my first house. One form of house hacking is where you buy a duplex and rent out one side and live in the other side. This enables makes you pay no rent or very little.
